Upcoming change on June 1st, 2026: terminal code validation in Certified Pick up API

What is changing?

Support for terminal code aliases will be discontinued.

 

From 01/06/2026, only official, canonical terminal codes will be accepted in production. Requests containing aliases will be rejected.

 

Validation is already active in UAT.

Why this change?

This update ensures consistent and unambiguous data exchange, improves data quality, and simplifies validation and processing across the platform.

Terminal code requirements

  • Only official terminal codes are accepted.
  • Format:
    • Numeric: 01234
    • Alphanumeric: 0S123
  • Codes must be selected from the official Port of Antwerp-Bruges list.

Who is impacted?

All users of the Certified Pick up API:

  • Shipping Agents
  • Terminal Operators
  • Forwarders
  • Transport Operators

What do you need to do?

Please ensure that:

  • You use only official terminal codes from the published list
  • Codes are sent in the correct format
  • No aliases are used in API requests
