You use Certified Pick up to provide status information about the container to other parties. Together with the shipping agent, you grant permission via the platform before the container can be picked up.
Find out how to use Certified Pick up as a freight forwarder, consignee or cargo stakeholder here. The platform grants you the right to pick up the container from the shipping agent. Next, you decide whether to collect the container yourself or transfer the pick-up right to a transport operator.
Through Certified Pick up, you will receive the release right to pick up the container. You can easily convert that to a pick up right using Certified Pick up. With this, you indicate who is allowed to collect the container, for example using the Alfapass number for truck drivers.
To facilitate the rollout of Certified Pick up, we organized training sessions for release parties and transport operators. You can rewatch the training sessions here.
